Essay#1: Character Analysis

Instructions:

Write an essay analyzing one or two characters from the movie Coco (2017) OR A Whisper Away (2020). You will only write about one movie. Your essay should include an introduction where you present the character you will write about, and mention your main points of analysis; a body where you elaborate your main points; and a conclusion where you recap and restate your main ideas. In order to provide a deep analysis, you must use textual evidence from the film (quotes from the movie). This essay should be at least two full pages long and follow MLA format

Five BONUS points: Briefly explain how culture (Mexican or Japanese) is shown in the movie. Write this in a separate paragraph at the end and title the section as “Bonus points”.

The essay will be due on March 4th via Canvas.
