Coursework 1: HRM REPORT

This is an individual assignment and carries [70%] of the module mark. It covers the following learning outcomes for the module:

1.  Critically analyse the roles of HR department within an organisation

2.  Evaluate  methods  employed  by  HR  professional  in  resourcing  and managing its employees

Course learning objective assessed:

Critically evaluate current business and management theory and practice.

For this assignment you must search for a suitable organisation to investigate. You may do this through written material, like case studies presented in books or online, or carry out internet searches. Please remember that companies may only present positive aspects of their organisations on their web pages, so do not believe everything that you read. Once you have selected an organisation, you will need to carry out a search on it, by exploring any relevant reports on it, ideally evidence based, but also other relevant commentaries, like newspaper reports. You could also contact the company yourself! You will then have to consider how the content within the HRM module can be applied to various aspects of the areas that you need to cover.
