BSBPMG505A Semester 1 2019 Manage Project Quality Assessment
Task 2 You are a registered builder in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. You are registered as a domestic builder unlimited as well as a commercial builder low to medium rise buildings.
You are required to control three quality requirements per stakeholder and explain how to control the quality requirements for you as a builder when dealing with the following people or businesses (stakeholders). Total 10 x 3 = 30 requirements:   1.         Client 2.         Architect or building designer. 3.         Structural Engineer 4.         Building Surveyor 5.         Geotechnical Engineer 6.         Consultants e.g. lawyers, accountants 7.         Subcontractors 8.         Material Suppliers 9.         Local Council 10.       Bank or finance company.
The building industry contains hundreds of possible quality requirements. Examples of how to control quality requirements have been given and explained in class (face to face teaching) with notes. These examples have also been discussed and debated. Your Report needs to be 1500 words minimum. This equates to 30 quality control requirements x 50 words (approximately) = 1500 words minimum. Remember to give a brief explanation of each quality control requirement as part of each quality requirement. You will be assessed by:
1. You have supplied 30 quality control requirements as per instructions.
2. Each quality control requirement is relevant to each stakeholder and the builder.
3. You have presented your Assessment task in a satisfactory Report Format.  
Consult AS/NZS ISO 9000: 2016 Quality Management Systems – Fundamentals and Vocabulary for information to help you with your assessment task. This assessment task must be presented in a Report Format (Structure) as per the Holmesglen student website resources. Spell check your work. No copying (plagiarism).
Penalties will apply to all involved Issue Date: Week 6 Submission Date:  Week 9. See Brightspace notification for date and time. Late submissions will not be accepted.  
Section D – Conditions for assessment
Conditions: Student to complete and attach Assessment Cover Sheet to the completed Assessment Task.
This is an individual assessment. Discuss with your assessor if you feel you require special consideration or reasonable adjustment for this task. Holmesglen Institute require special forms, available from the Faculty Administration Office, to be completed in the case of Application for Special Consideration (STU149) or Deferred Assessment (STU150) and these must be submitted to the Faculty Administration Office within the designated timelines. These forms usually require appropriate evidence to be attached. Students must meet all criteria in the marking guide to be deemed satisfactory for this task. Students may be eligible to re-submit this task if deemed not satisfactory within 2 weeks of notification by the assessor. Eligibility for a re-submission means students have attended at least 80% of their classes, as determined by the teacher. Resubmission is also dependent on the student having submitted an Assessment Task Submission in the first place, by the correct process. Submission is on line using the HIT Brightspace system. In order to use the HIT Brightspace system students must ensure they are correctly enrolled (fees paid, enrolled in the correct units and a current HIT student I.D. card obtained). Late submissions will not be accepted. No copying (plagiarism). Penalties will apply to all involved.
