Proposal to Solve a Problem of gender Inequality

Essay 3: Prompt (Problem Solution Research)

Essay: Proposal to Solve a Problem of gender Inequality.

Using literature, specifically Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun and Susan Glaspell's Trifles as springboard texts, write a Proposal to Solve a Race and/or Gender Relations Problem in the United States culture, appealing to logos, ethos, and pathos. I encourage you to write on an issue that you would like to learn, read and write about for the next two weeks: (Gender Inequality). The essay must identify a race and/or gender problem in Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun, make a strong and relevant claim with a future solution to solve "gender Inequality," show how the proposal will fix the problem of gender Inequality, and make sure that the proposal is feasible.

As you begin your research, try to be objective—always try to understand the multiple sides of an argument. Although you will present a counter argument(s), you must present a clear claim (thesis statement) that includes the problem and solution about the topic under consideration.

You will present no less than four credible sources to support your argument. This paper must be thesis driven, follow MLA rules for documentation, synthesize sources, and may follow AXES. Essay length: (5-7 pages) plus Works Cited page
