1.       Pick one of the issues/populations discussed this week and discuss how culture likely plays a role as a cause/contributing factor. 2.       Pick one of the issues/populations discussed this week. As a future human service professional, what role would you want to play in helping to prevent/intervene? Do look back at chapter 4 and identify roles and job functions that you would want to engage in to be part of the solution. Share at least 2.

3.       Pick one of the issues/populations discussed this week. Share 2 ideas for how to prevent at the primary level. For this part, you can simply write it like this): My population is elder abuse. To prevent elder abuse at the primary prevention level, I would develop classes to teach family members about the risk factors. I would also teach doctors how to let their aging patients know what the signs of elder abuse are and how to report elder abuse.

Do note, for your exam: I will offer both formats again (short essay responses or traditional multiple choice/true-false). I share this because, for this chapter especially, there is a TON of content and I will want you to really think about the extent to which people need
